I’m a writer and a mum of two young people.
The tiger safari remains on hold, and most of my trekking takes place near Lake Hawea and Wanaka in New Zealand.

Photos are up!
Photos from the half marathon can be found on www.marathon-photos.com, under Royal Parks Half Marathon. You can search by surname to find us. Not sure who looks worse, but there are definitely some shockers in there!

On the upside, there are at least 3 perfectly good ones of each of you :)
On another topic, the black print on dark green background combo of this blog's current template is particularly hard to read. Changing it would enhance the reading pleasure of your devoted fans.
Julz should be doubly embarrassed because Nanny ran a 2 hour half marathion at about the same age :) Lolo's best was sowemwhere between 1 hr 30 an 1 hour 45... he is getting to old and senile to remember. :)
Rac, you looked like you were finishing with a smile on your face and a bit of pep :) Well Done.
Julz, it looked hard for you... I think you need a lot more training runs before you actually enjoy a race like that... however it is a great effort when you've been sitting behind a computer all week :)
I see that we've not heard or seen anything from you lately.... I hope that you have stayed in training - it is the best way to keep fit and it will encourage you to have another go at a half marathon. I only felt good about it on about the third time I tried - but the times got better in leaps and bounds each time.
