B2 at 32 weeks

B2 at 32 weeks, originally uploaded by Racmol.

Well, I promised a photo so here it is. It's pretty poor though - the sonographer didn't charge me for the photo as she couldn't get a good shot.

The important stuff though - he's growing well, all measurements within the normal range. Estimated weight: 1.878kg. Abdominal circumference is not quite as average as it was, but still normal. That's the one they were really looking for, as that shows whether there are any problems with growth. Also the placenta appears to be functioning properly.

And dammit, no urine test! So I might as well have had a fruit mince pie for breakfast after all, instead of sensible porridge...

Very cute I'm sure - what did you say he was going to be called

Does B2 have a name as yet. I don't know how you can even tell he's a boy.

Sorry I am the first anonymous by accident

B2 doesn't have a name yet - although there are now a couple of names that we both like, so that's progress!

You can't tell he's a boy from this shot - it's just the head and torso, after all! I meant that when the sonographer pointed out the boy bits, at a different point in the scan to when this photo was taken, even I could clearly see what she was talking about.

Head and torso you say?? Great he's doing all the right things (growing) shame about the FMP, doesnt sound like a breakfast that would be permitted under the new regime anyway :)
