While other people dream of fast cars and thighs without cellulite, I just want to see a tiger in the wild.
So, logically enough, I'm leaving my home in Wellington, New Zealand and returning to live in central London. Where tigers lurk in every alleyway, creeping out after dark to compete with the urban foxes for half-eaten kebabs.
Well, yes... I realise this sounds unlikely. But whether you dream of tigers, pyramids, Macchu Pichu or Mt Vesuvius, the fact is that pounds sterling get you there faster than South Pacific pesos. Plus I miss London. It's a fabulous city with heaps to do and the whole of Europe within easy reach for long weekends.
We leave New Zealand on Friday 6 May and head through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand before arriving in London on 1 June, just in time for summer.
Watch this space for photos from the road.
